Been busy these past few days driving my brother back and forth to the hospital to see his second daughter.

I can see the joy in his eyes everytime he sees her, he really wanted a boy(like most of us dudes) but he loves her, and i see it. cutest little thing you've ever seen.

Ever since the year has begun, i've been tested alot, i expected everything to be peachy right out the gate, but i am sorely mistaken

Day 237 - in(FLU)ence

Since starting photography (september 2008) i have a small catalogue of photographers work i spent nights drooling over, just wondering how they accomplished certain shots. with time and practice and the learning of fundamentals, i began to slowly understand how and why these guys are so dope.

Their excellence was almost contagious, and i'm hoping to get sicker as the time goes, i wanna get infected with whatever skills these dudes have on the camera.

This time around.. our conversation didn't go so well. He basically informed me that he's not angry by my curiosity or inquisitiveness, but at times i can be quite disrespectful when using his name and certain word combinations.

I asked him can he blame me? theres so much -crap-going on in the world i can't help but question him... needless to say it didn't end well, and i ended up on his bathroom floor, i must admit i'm not impressed, i thought it'd be nicer..

but hey, God's got nice tiles

Day 231 - tremblement de la terre

Today a massive earth quake struck haiti, this hits home because my father had recently been deported to the city where the magnitude 7 quake hit hardest, Port-Au-Prince.

all lines of communication and electricity are down, news reports of complete chaos.. really tough shit.

i can only hope things get better for that country...

Man, in all my years living in Miami.. it has never been this cold. Avergaing around 35 degrees this past week, it is ridiculous..

we actually had to call and get the AC fixed.. FOR HEAT! that is unprecedented... on top of that its raining, i could swear i'm in seattle.

Day 225 - Viet Cong

I am embarking on another saga within my 365. Photos that have awe struck me, or held major influence on me over the years. I will try and incorporate myself into Life's most influential photos ever.

This photo was taken by photographer Eddie Adams of the Associated Press, he won a Pulitzer prize for this often "misinterpreted" scene, as South Vietnamese police chief Nguyen Ngoc Loan executed a viet cong captian.

this photo has always been very striking to me, very powerful, i hope one day to have a full scale print of it in my house.. i got this idea from an episode of mTV cribs i seen in middle school, i believe it was Dave Navarro.

I am happy to announce that the xmas break is over, a new year has begun, and im getting back tos chool againt o finish off this AA so i can transfer later and get my Bachelors.

I finally got my schedule put together and his spring i'll be taking world religion, Art appreciation, and a course in the history of Jazz and popular music. I am very stoked, im expecting some epic knowledge gaining.

Day 222 - Chilly

The weather has been super chilly in miami lately.. i dont know if i love it or hate it.

Went to a picnic with my Sp fam, and afterwards hit up a japanese sushi bar(Hiro) wit the crew, it was awesome
